Raw Pumpkin Smoothie Bowl

Wow, yesterday evening, when I arreved at home, there was a surprise. A huge pumpkin on the counter waiting for me to have a crunch on it. My delighted heart started pumpking more and more blood from the excitement, because it meant the possibility of making the Greatest drink in the world..  Banana Pumpkin Smoothie.

Last year in october, I was in an amazing retreat, which is called Natural High Healing Retreat, it is associated with this Super Festival. We did laughter yoga, sang together, opened our hearts with passion and music. Also, there was a superb kitchen crew, who did their thing. One day they prepared amazing smoothie with pumpkin and bananas, wow – gosh.

Here, enjoying the fruits of first fully raw month! 🙂

Now, at last the pumpkin season has made it’s way back to me. It is time to enjoy this bliss of pumpiness. Pumpkin’s magic lore, also check out this site to know more about pumpkins and Samhain the predecessor of our known Halloween. Today is the autumn equinox, which marks the beginning of the darkness, to take long look deep within. It is the time when the nature goes asleep and winds blow the longed rest upon our lands.

The ghosts, and the spirits of ancestors will start visiting our homes. They bring wisdom and greetings from the other planes of existence, giving support and advice to our fragile hearts. It is a season of deep sleep and relaxation, it is time to take out our rain coats and contemplate upon leaven paths. Make the connection with the world of faeries, and other earth elementals. Look into the sky for the stars on some nights and listen to the pixies humming sweetly in your ears.

Golden crackers!


Ingredients for the Orange layer:

  • 2 Bananas
  • piece of Pumpkin
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves

Ingredients for the Brown layer:

  • Overnight soaked Buckwheat
  • Maca powder
  • Carob powder
  • Coconut oil
  • Honey


  1. Blend the first layer in a blender.
  2. Pour it into a cup.
  3. Blend the second layer in a blender.
  4. Pour it into a cup.
  5. Decorate with a banana.
  6. Enjoy! 🙂
